It all started and ended one Sunday in South Carolina while I was employed by a dome company whose policy was - No working on Sunday. However, I only had one small task which required only one person. I thought to myself, "If I could just complete this one job on this one Sunday, it would save several man hours on Monday morning." |

Working the night shift can cause sleep deprivation or at the very least ? extreme fatigue. To set the stage ? imagine a large crane with a man-basket at its head parked in the center of a 30,000-square-foot dome. |

First Time for Everything |

...The first-time dome builders headed for their trailer and some much-needed sleep. They wakened to darkness and winds that blew and howled and rocked their trailer back and forth. But Andy and Robert could do nothing but hope for the best possible outcome. |
