| A Crenosphere costs less to build because of its construction process. A net of cables with a diameter slightly smaller than the Airform’s diameter is spread over the outside of the Airform. This forces the fabric of the Airform to pooch or pillow out between the cables, giving the Crenosphere its quilted or indented look. |
