The goal of Monolithic Equipment Manufacturing is to design and create equipment and supplies that make dome building easier. The new Vibrating Screen definitely makes concrete mixing and spraying run much smoother. David South, President of Monolithic said, "I have worked with lots of screens and this one is, by far, better than 99% of what's available on the market."

The new Vibrating Screen created by Monolithic Equipment Manufacturing is especially designed to fit on the hopper of the EHP 1500 and EHP 2000 pump. It's sole purpose is to filter out wrong-size aggregate and trash that often comes in aggregate and/or concrete from Ready Mix plants. Also, sand or aggregate may not always mix well. This screen is not intended for the mixer.

The dimensions are such that the mixer will dump directly into the screen. The screen is equipped with an air-powered turbine vibrator, the most durable and quietest vibrator available. It sits on isolators so aggregate has less tendency to pack the concrete in the pump. The screen can be partially slid off the hopper to allow space to use a shovel to agitate the mixture and/or clean the hopper.

The electricity driven vibrator is sized to shake the screen hard enough to drop the normal aggregate through without a lot of manual effort. Weighing only 100 pounds, the screen is relatively light and easy to handle.

Recently Mike South, Monolithic Construction Superintendent came to Blaine Green, Equipment Manager and asked if there was some way to adapt the vibrating screen so that it would lift on each end making it easier to dump debris and rocks.

Mike and Blaine set to work and now....we have a new and improved screen! Its added hook at the end of the of the angle iron allows the screen to be stood upright on either end of the hopper. The screen for the small pump can only be stood on one end.
