Monolithic Rotating Scaffold Base Keeps Dome Builders Going In Circles!
Order Online Now!When it comes to building a Monolithic Dome -- spraying foam, setting rebar, spraying concrete, cleaning up -- being able to easily and safely move in a circle, around the dome's inside perimeter is a real advantage.
Monolithic, recently developed by Monolithic, is simple in design, very affordable and provides a viable solution. It consists of a platform with two tires in back that rotate in a circle; two tires in front that follow the edge of the dome; and two rails, between the tires, that hold standard pipe scaffolding. An electric gear motor and drum switch sit atop one of the front tires. David says, "You throw the switch and go around in a circle. You pull back to reverse and you go the other way. It's absolutely simple to use and maintain. It's not likely to develop a problem that a do-it-yourselfer can't fix.
The wheel size is 15 inches. The drive motor requires 110 volts single
phase. The clearance is 12 inches under the axle and 14 inches under the
side rails. For more information, contact Blaine Green, Monolithic Equipment Division Manager. Blaine@Monolithic.com Order Online Now! |
