Starship Pegasus - Space Age Fun for the Entire Family

Now Open for Business in Italy, Texas

Updated March 10, 2005

by Kris Garrison

The Starship Pegasus is now open for business. Located at I-35 and Hwy 34 in Italy, Texas, the Starship is designed as a space-themed restaurant offering a menu of sub sandwiches, pizzas, salads, drinks and more. Check out their new website at: www.starshippegasus.com

The space-theme restaurant features Electronic Internet Gaming units and currently offers customers several video games, arcades, science fiction movies, and delicious food.

If you come to Monolithic, be sure to stop by Starship Pegasus for an affordable lunch or dinner.

Beginning Saturday, February 12, and every Saturday afterwards, Patt Strain of Corsicana will give a puppet show at Starship Pegasus at 11 AM and a repeat performance at 4 PM. From 1 PM till 3 PM she will teach a free class on puppeteering, teaching you how to be a puppeteer and making a puppet.

On Friday evening, February 18, at 7 PM at Starship Pegasus, Max Corneau will give a lecture on astronomy. If it is a clear night he will set up the Starship Pegasus' 14 inch telescope for the public to look through. Previously he used his lenses and the Starship telescope and could see the rings of Saturn. Those who wish to be part of the Starship Astronomy Club can sign up at that time.

If either event has an overflow crowd, the activities will be moved to the Monolithic Dome Institute just down the road on Kinfolk Lane.
