The innovative plan for an entire movie studio built of Monolithic Domes has moved to the next level of design and production. Although the location of the studio has not been disclosed at this time, architects and designers are busily creating this one-of-a-kind studio concept.
Jack McAdam has caught the vision of how Monolithic Domes can offer the most innovative studio complex for productions, on the cutting edge of construction technology. Monolithic Domes are years ahead of the competition. Utilizing Monolithic Dome construction technology for movie production studios offers many advantages.
Monolithic Domes Advantages for Movie Studios:

- Free Span Interior -- Any size dome can be free span offering increased space and design flexibility
- Green Structure -- Domes use modest amount of energy for heating, cooling, and maintenance in any location of the world.
According to McAdam, big change is on the horizon for the entertainment industry. He said, "Since the entertainment industry has changed radically in the past ten years with the introduction of digital equipment and the latest innovations for film and post production hardware. And this industry will continue to change with the growth and the expansion of new venues and new international outlets. However, what has not changed are the stages and the production facilities, or work places. The basic concept behind Stardome Studios was created to change that aspect of the industry."
Currently, the overall studio layout itself is generous in size with individual production units carefully designed to service the needs of each stage. In addition to this, the introduction of lush landscaping outside these units offers the production a place to relax, to meet and to take pleasure in their unique studio surroundings.
