Oklahoma’s Largest Newspaper Spotlights Dome Homes
Oklahoma sits right in the middle of tornado alley. Perhaps that’s one reason why the state is home to more Monolithic Dome schools than anywhere else in the nation, as well as a growing number of dome homes. A reporter at the Oklahoman went in search of local dome home owners to find out why they chose to live in the round. The top reasons given: safety and energy-efficiency.
