Mike and Kathy Breitenbach built a beautifully designed 2,523 square foot Monolithic Dome in Eagle Point, Oregon in 2003. The home overlooks the entire Rogue Valley. It features 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and provides a private entrance on each floor of the dome with the garage entrance under the first floor of the dome. The exterior is covered with a synthetic stucco to enhance its aesthetics appearance. Their home is now for sale!

Kathy was the interior designer for the home and used Fung Shui principles throughout the entire home. The Breitenbachs love the open design and the abundance of light in the dome. They have been extremely happy with its energy efficiency. Mike said, "We have a geothermal system which includes heating and cooling. Our energy bill for an entire year did not exceed $1,000. That is amazing. I am certain we have the most energy efficient home in Oregon."
