April Workshop Welcomes Forty-Four Attendees
April 14, 2005 by Kris Garrison The first workshop for 2005 is complete and was a huge success. We welcomed 44 guests representing 20 states and 2 foreign countries. According to Cindy Sutherland, our friendly receptionist and workshop food coordinator, the session ran smoothly. She said, "All the attendees were extremely nice, appreciative of all the knowledge shared and the good food. Many of them said they felt right at home here." Each attendee took part in constructing a 60-foot copper-colored dome here on the property. During the workshop, participants were able to get three complete sprays of concrete on the dome. It will take a total of 5 to 6 sprays to complete the dome. Monolithic crews will be completing concrete application over the next week. The next workshop is scheduled for May 3-7, 2005.
