In Memory of Peter Kelly

Peter
Kelly, Founder of Farside Estates, passed away on May 8, 2004 in his dome
home in Lakemont, Georgia. Peter was born Febrary 2, 1947. He was survived
by four children: Ed Kelly, Erin Kelly, Patricia Tselan Kelly and Inez
Tsemei. He is also survived by his fiancé, Diane Faridad. Peter
had been married three times. The last two wives preceded him in death:
Marianne Keeler Kelly and Mary Katherine Trice Kelly.
Mr. Kelly worked with psychotronics for many years. He was the founder of Interdimensional Sciences in 1984 and Dimensional Sciences in 1987 and published a quarterly newsletter, Interdimensional News. Although similar in function, the two companies are different entities. Interdimensional Sciences was a not-for-profit research institute. He also developed Farside Land & Development Company in Lakemont, Georgia in 1988. He was nominated for Inventor of the Year" in the United States in 1992. Mr. Kelly served for five years in the US Navy, and had the distinction of being the only Electronic Technician aboard the U.S.S. Escape (ARS-6)
His office assistant, Cathy Jordan has worked along side Mr. Kelly for 18 years. She was basically responsible for holding the business together. According to Peter's fiancé, Diane, "Kathy was the one who dealt with the day to day business. She was the glue that held it all together for the past 12 years."
David South recalls his friendship with Peter Kelly:
"Peter was a pioneer in many things including the use of Monolithic Domes.
The first call I received from Peter was 1977. He was living in a geodesic
home in northern Georgia (Lakemont) near the North Carolina border. Peter
was living in a geodesic home that he had constructed and was very happy
with it, but he had seen some of the literature on the Monolithic Dome
and he thought that was what he would like to build for his new office.
Over the next few months we negotiated and wound up building a sixty-foot
diameter Monolithic Dome for Peter, nestled in the mountains.
His location was absolutely gorgeous! He owned quite a bit of land, which he called Farside Estates. He broke the land up in lots and sold a number of lots to people who built Monolithic Domes. In fact, one of the lots was the property we used to film the training pack. We had a group from Iraq who wanted to learn how to build domes and we had them meet us there to build a dome there on one of Peter's lots. We later sold the house to a lady who later sold it to some one else. In effect, Farside Estates was the first Monolithic Dome subdivision.
Peter's drum was a different beat that anyone I've ever met. He had quite a business. In addition to Interdimensional Sciences, Peter was extremely knowledgeable of alternative healing, first with vibrations and later with music. He invented a device called a BETAR. The BETAR could never be explained by anybody but it worked. It gave a lot of people relief from pain. To learn more about it, visit BETAR.
Peter always loved life, he was a great friend."
Recently, Peter finished building a 30-foot Monolithic Dome on his property for storage and a small chapel where his family held a private memorial service.
Peter Kelly will be missed in the dome building industry.
