Global Dome Builders Planning 8 unit Monolithic Dome Rental Complex

Only one day after the Monolithic Workshop in 2000, Bill Fraley began work on a 32' foot dome with another dome builder. Soon thereafter, Bill began his own dome building company, Global Dome Builders in Mondovi, Wisconsin. To date he has built six Monolithic Domes.

Currently he is working with designer, Linda Ware of Visions Design to create a group of four duplex rental units. With his experience in owning a 9-unit motel, he wants to apply that knowledge to Monolithic Dome rentals. Plans include four domes, each a two-story facility with 2 rentals -- providing a total of 8 rental units in Mondovi, WI. The 26' duplex will feature one bedroom, one living area, a full-size bath tub and a kitchen with an island. Additional ammenties include cable, HBO, phone service, long distance, paid electric and water bills and Internet service. The projected fee for weekly rental will be set at $150.

Bill plans to increase his crew when construction begins. Since the purchase of a brand new foam machine, Global Dome Builders will be expanding their services to include foam spraying services.
