Monolithic Domes for Rent!

December 10, 2003

by Kris Garrison

"I wish I could stay in a Monolithic Dome before I build one." That's the sentiment of many potential dome owners. Some customers want to experience a dome's sound, comfort level and living environment before they purchase their own dome.

Several Monolithic customers have built dome rental properties which are available for you to rent today!

Xanadu Belize

Ivan and Judy Sheinbaum created Xanadu, a Monolithic Dome tropical island resort on Ambergris Caye in the West Caribbean nation of Belize.

Xanadu Island Resort lies hidden on an inviting palm lined beach, overlooking the Caribbean and the Barrier Reef. Just a short walk to San Pedro Town. Xanadu Island Resort is close enough to enjoy the restaurants and other amenities of town, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to be quiet and relaxed. The final plan calls calls for twelve domes, 32' - 42' in diameter, a full-service restaurant, and a three-level swimming pool. For rates and information, visit Xanadu Resort.

Autumn Leaf

Lareda and Ken Hoback are the owners of Autumn Leaf, a Monolithic Dome bed and breakfast in Burwell, Nebraska. Overnight guests can participate in a variety of activities. The lodge is just seven miles from Lake Calamus which has nice, white sand beaches and very good fishing. Hobacks built two domes, one with a 50-foot diameter and one with a 30-foot diameter, and a connecting arch. The bed and breakfast has three guest rooms with motifs appealing to hunting, fishing and outdoor enthusiasts: The Pleasant Pheasant and the Dear Deer rooms each have queen beds, while the Hook, Line and Sinker has twin beds.
Autumn Leaf can be reached at (308) 346-4366.
