Aggieland Fitness--First Monolithic Dome Fitness Center

In January 2004, the Aggieland Fitness Dome will open the doors of its brand new, 124-foot-diameter Monolithic Dome to the communities of College Station and Bryan, Texas. It will be the first Monolithic Dome specifically designed as a fitness center.
Dome Technology of Idaho Falls, Idaho began the shell construction in May, 2003. The dome shell is now complete. Interior construction is being done by Panattoni Construction and is quickly nearing completion.
The facility will include an upper-level mezzanine with cardio-equipment. The lower level will include locker rooms, free weights, child care, and other services for guests. Completion is estimated for December 1, 2003 with grand opening on January 15, 2004.
