| Monolithic
Welcomes Future Designers, Architects and Engineers by Kris Garrison Junior and senior drafting students from Waxahachie High School in Waxahachie, Texas came to Monolithic headquarters in March to tour the facilities and listen to a presentation given by Monolithic designers, Linda Ware and Larry Byrne. "They seemed genuinely interested in the domes and some of them had great computer drafting skills and had done research on the Monolithic Domes prior to their visit here," said Larry Byrne. Educating the youth of today about Monolithic Domes, its uses and its benefits is a positive step toward widespread acceptance of the Monolithic Dome concept. Monolithic is open M-F from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for tours. For field trips or large groups, please contact Anne DeMoss for an appointment. A group tour consists of a tour of our headquarters, free literature, a tour of Charca Casa, home of inventor David B. South, Bruco, The Texas Italian Caterpillar, and a free information video.
