North Texas Renewable Energy, Green Power & Sustainability Expoby Kris Garrison Anne DeMoss, Public Relations for Monolithic will represent the Monolithic Dome Institute at the North Texas Renewable Energy Green Power & Sustainability Expo being held at the Environmental Science Building at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, May 31-June 1, 2002. The Expo offers an opportunity for the renewable energy and sustainability industry to have an impact on a region of Texas than has not been the focus of a major related conference or exhibit since 1997. "The area (Dallas/Fort Worth) has a history of renewable energy development going back to the 1980's, but as with the rest of the state and country, emphasis on renewables has been somewhat muted in recent years. In today's world there is a resurgence of interest in domestic, clean, dependable, and sustainable energy approaches. The D/FW Metroplex and all of North Texas offers a huge market to be developed, but we must question, listen, educate and excite, then provide solutions and assurance through our industry's people, products and services. This Expo is a new beginning." (Introduction, Renewable Energy Brochure) So, if you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, come by Monolithic's booth for a visit. Plenty of free parking is available immediately adjacent to the Science Building (students will be gone as it is between semesters). Hope to see you there!
