Storm Braved To See Inflation

Forty friends of Jim and Carla Willard of Prosser, Washington braved a winter storm in February to witness the inflation of Willards' 64' x 24' dome home and 36' garage built by Walter Burnham of Rocky Mountain Domes. Their dome will feature a mezzanine overlooking the great room and an 8-foot central skylight. The large dome openings will provide a wonderful view of surrounding vineyards.

Jim said, "About 10 years ago, before I even knew about Monolithic Domes, I drew several versions of a concrete home. Somewhere along the line I learned about Monolithic Domes and we have been planning our dome home ever since," Now it's a reality! The Willards hope to move in by the end of 2001.
