MDBA
Introduced to Workshop
"The small dairy farmer who tried to tell the world about
the good things of milk ran into a lot of difficulties,"
said John St. Pé to men and women attending Monolithic's
March Workshop. " So the farmer got smart and joined a dairy
association, and let the association do the telling. That's what
MDBA (Monolithic Dome Builders Association) wants to do for the
Monolithic Dome building industry," continued St. Pé
of Dome Contractors, Inc., who joined MDBA after its initial meeting
in February.
St. Pé explained that the goal of MDBA is to become "the
big voice" of the industry by promoting public awareness
and establishing standards of quality.
"We plan to do this by combining the talents of builders,
architects, designers, engineers, vendors and dome enthusiasts
into a group that will share ideas, research and development,"
St. Pé told his audience.
He ended his presentation by inviting the Workshop attendees to
join MDBA and participate in the formation of its bylaws and committees.
