Decorator Guru, Christopher Lowell "Digs" the Domes

The Discovery Channel aired "Unique Digs," a cable show hosted by Christopher Lowell on September 7 at 3 pm pacific and eastern time, and 2 pm central time. Show #310 featured a decorating segment in the home of Creig Lasley in Nevada City, California. It is also set to re-run on December 5, 2001 at 3:00 pm. Check out Christopher Lowell's website. So How Did We Get Christopher Lowell Interested?

Great public relations, that's how!

During the Fall 2000 Home Show in Dallas, Texas, Monolithic's Public Relations Directors Anne DeMoss and Jessica South spotted Christopher Lowell's booth. He was there, but a myriad of women surrounded his booth. So Anne hung around the booth and talked to the show representative. She gave him free brochures, Roundups and a free video to peak his interest in the dome's unique architecture and decorating potential.

Opportunites to be on such a show and get the kind of publicity it generates don't happen every day, so Anne and Jessica hoped and waited.

Shortly after the home show, Christopher's producer called Monolithic. They wanted to pick an "over the top" home in California to decorate or redecorate. After much negotiating, Craig Lasley's home was chosen as the show's stage setting. Tell your family and friends about it and tune into "Unique Digs" on September 7, 2001!
