Monolithic
Dome Conference 2001 - A Success
Hundreds
of domebuilders, vendors, professionals and dome enthusiasts gathered
at the Ramada Plaza in Fort Worth, Texas in February to generate
new ideas and learn more about the dome building techniques at
the Monolithic Dome Conference 2001.
Anne
DeMoss, Conference Coordinator, feels relieved that it's over,
but happy with its success. "I am so proud that this year
we had more builders present so customers could interact with
them. We had absolutely wonderful speakers and very interesting
topics." Monolithic has received a lot of positive feedback
about this conference and excitement about next year's conference.
Anne
said, "It always takes a team effort for a large conference
to come together, but with lots of staff support and cooperation
everything worked out beautifully."
One
of the most exciting aspects of this year's conference was the
formation of the Monolithic Dome Builders Association. All officers
are in place and functioning in their respective office at this
time. Anne said, "The MDBA is in its infancy so we have lots
of growing to do. At this point we are 81 members strong and continue
growing each day."
Mark
your calendars for next year's conference - February 28, March
1-2, 2002 at the Ramada Plaza in Fort Worth, Texas.
