Schick Dome in Kansas-- Practical and Beautiful

MDBA Vice President, Bob Schick recently completed his Io-24 Monolithic Dome in Wakarusa, Kansas. Bob, a workshop attendee built the Monolithic Dome with brother, Ken Schick. They purchased equipment and supplies during the workshop and broke ground in June 2000. Skylight Construction applied the foam and Bob finished the interior with a smooth stucco surface. A 9' x10' mud room features spray-in-place concrete walls. The interior floors are linoleum and carpet while the mud features a durable, stained-concrete finish.
